About our graduate programmes

Across South Africa, Moore has a graduate intake at the beginning of every year, for the following departments:

Audit - In this department you will need an analytical mind, as you join a pool of trainees providing audit and accounting services to managers and partners. You will work with a broad range of clients, covering a variety of sectors, including financial services, manufacturing, retail, wholesale, film & media, technology, agriculture and many more, ranging in size from owner-managed SME’s, to large private equity entities, as well as listed companies. Graduates studying towards their CA(SA) (SAICA) qualification, are suitable for this department.

Advisory – To join this department, you need to be a logical, analytical, robust and inquisitive person who has an interest in Finance and can deal with the fast paced and constantly changing environment in which we operate. Our clients range from private equity companies to owner managed businesses, and the services you will provide them with will include valuations, tax structuring, financial due diligences and JSE listing advice. Graduates studying towards their CA(SA) (SAICA) qualification are suitable for this department.

Tax - You will be providing bespoke taxation services to clients, as well as dealing with queries from basic compliance through to high-level advisory work. You'll prepare tax returns and computations, carry out tax planning/consultancy work, and deal with SARS, clients and third parties. Graduates studying towards their Registered Tax Practitioner (SAIT) qualification, are suitable for this department.

Accounting - You will be joining a team of trainees and managers who manage the outsourced accounting function for their clients. You will assist the team in providing clients with every service that is traditionally performed by a finance department, such as bookkeeping, management accounting, financial statement preparation, as well as valuations and forecasting. You will also be involved in any other ad-hoc financial projects required by the client. Graduates studying towards the Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA) qualification or the South African Professional Accountant (SAIPA) qualification, are suitable for this department.

Internal Audit - Graduates studying towards their Professional Internal Auditor (IIA SA) qualification would be suitable for this department.

Whichever path you have chosen, Moore will equip you with the necessary experience to start your career on the right track! In addition to a competitive salary and flexible benefits, we offer full study support towards gaining your qualification and internal training to maximise your personal and technical skills.
