Focused on Insurance

Insurance companies are at the dawn of a new era where managing risk and capital, driven by risk-based regulations, is not only becoming mandatory but vital for the lifeline of individual firms competing in an ever-changing risk and regulatory environment. Today’s insurance executives face a daunting array of risk information arising from volatile financial markets, regulatory changes, weather and environmental impacts, technology updates, global skilled resource shifts and other changes.

We believe that understanding risk quantitatively and qualitatively should not be the sole domain of a select few working in the ‘engine rooms’, but a core capability of all insurance management teams.

Our advisory service is thus aimed at assisting management to answer and appreciate the following questions

  • How do we meet our strategic goals as insurance firms, whilst remaining true to our core business activity of taking on risks?
  • How do we manage our financial stability and profitability in line with our aims of sound risk and capital management?

Our regulatory and compliance experts help clients with applications for authorisation or varying of permissions, supervisory issues, prudential matters, regulatory reporting and ad-hoc requirements.

Our team of experts work with you to design and implement the required processes and advise on the impact on your capital requirements.
